Sir,
My sister and I have visited Key West, with our parents, since we were children. Having visited the original
vessel that served as a museum, we have been fascinated with the hunt for treasure from childhood. We never
passed up the opportunity to visit the museum each time our family vacationed in Key West. We may now be in
a position to invest with your company and would like to receive more information on the terms of investing.
Having dived for close to twenty years, we would love the opportunity to dive on one of the sites and need
to know the terms of doing so.
Enclosed is a photo of the two of us with Mel in the early 1990's. He was quite a fellow and we enjoyed
meeting him.
Yours truly,
Lance Davis

Shawn,
Just a note of Thanks for taking the time on short notice to arrange a dive on the Margarita site. The
weather and diving conditions could not have been better! The whole crew on the Blue Water Rose were very
hospitable, even during their frenzied diving pace. These guys are really working hard for all the investor's
out there. If any crew can find the Margarita mother lode, they will. What an experience! Thank the
crew again. See you soon.
Sincerely,
Dr. David J. Pfent II

Hi Guys,
Just want to thank all of you for your thoughtfulness & help in making my dream come true of diving on the
Atocha. Captain Andy, Chris Norwood and the Magruder crew couldn't have been nicer and more helpful.
Please thank them for me when you get a chance.
I will be returning this September 9 thru 16th with my wife to go to "Emerald City" on the 10th, then
hopefully get a few days of diving again on the Atocha. I enjoyed learning several new diving techniques
and look forward to using them again on the Atocha. I hope myself and the other investor divers were not
too much of a nuisance. Again, it was truly a wonderful time. Thank you!!!!!!!!

Hellloooo everybody!! This is CJ Rhoades of the The Three Buccaneers, recently myself, my brother
Tim and his wife headed south for the latest round of emerald hunting. We arrived in Key West late
Sunday night and after a little rest it was up early Monday morning to head for the dock to meet up with
Captain Ryan of the Whitewater.
Upon ariving at the dock we met up with the other investors and Captain Ryan. Everyone
was loaded aboard Whitewater and we headed out for the JB Magruder. While taking the hour long ride
out I had the theme from the Indiana Jones movie stuck in my head. Along the way we ran in to some
waves, cloudy skys and a little rain which made the Indiana Jones theme play even louder.
We arived at the the Magruder and were welcomed aboard by Captain Andy and his crew (Bill, Kent, Ryan).
We started sifting and before long we had an emeraled, then another, and another, a total of 10 for the
day. Everyone who went that day had found one or more. We had a great day aboard the Magruder
thanks to Captain Andy and his crew who made us feel like we were part of the crew. The sun had
come out with a nice breaze that made it very comfortable on the boat.
Well it was time to say farewell for the day, so we were shuttled back to the Whitewater and Captain Ryan headed us back
to Key West. Along the way the clouds were starting to roll in and we sighted a small funnel cloud off
in the distance, and the waves were starting to pickup again. Then it happened, about half way back
one of the two motors sheared a prop pin, so we were down to one motor. Captain Ryan had everyone
move forward to help plane out the boat, we are down to about 18 knots instead of 40 knots.
The waves were getting bigger and the farther we went the slower we were going with motor alarms going
off; it was not looking good. Now remember that Indiana Jones theme in my head, well it quickly
turned to the Gilligan's Island theme song.
Captain Ryan did his best and by about 7:00 pm we were
about a 100 yards off the coast of Key West. Thats when the other engine finaly gave up, but Captain
Ryan had called for another boat to rescue us and he showed up in no time. We boarded the other boat
and were wisked in to Hurricane Harbor where Shawn Cowels was wating for us with the tab at the bar
open. All in all a great day and everyone was back safe. Everyone involved was great, it truly was
"Today is the Day".

Hello! Just thought I'd write a little something about my recent trip.
I arrived in Key West on a Friday in late August anxious to go diving on the site over the
weekend. Several of us were scheduled to go, but the others cancelled, so it turned out it was just
going to be me on Saturday!
I met the Lucky Dog and Captain Chris at the marina Saturday morning and we began our journey to the
site. It was a smooth and very nice trip. When we arrived at the site the Dare was already busy at
work. We transferred all my gear and boarded where I met the crew, received a briefing and a tour of the
Dare. Then it was time to dive and look for treasure!
We all went into the water and down to the freshly blown hole. Chris and I worked the bottom of the
hole while two crewmembers worked the sides with a metal detector. Towards the end of the dive I found
an EO! After about 15 minutes It was back on the boat and time to blow another hole.
This went on all day. Blow a hole, search it. Blow a hole, search it. It was not what I expected. As a
recreational diver when you go to a dive site you go somewhere specific. A reef. A wreck. A wall. I
pictured going to the site, diving on a reef with lots of fish and poking around holes looking for
treasure until my air was gone. That was not to be the case. The site is miles and miles of sand and
seashells. Thats it. It was all work, all day. No goofing around. After I got over the initial shock
of what the site actually was and got into working it, I had a great time. I had to do a good job
because there is not going to be anybody going back over where we checked. If we don't find it its
probably gone forever.
At the end of the day all that was found was my EO. I was kind of depressed. Not because we didn't
find piles of gold, but because we didn't really find anything! We worked hard all day and had
nothing to show for it. Chris and I said our goodbyes to the Dare crew and then it was back to Key West. I
ran into Shawn later that evening and expressed my diasappointment over not finding anything. He gave
me a pep talk and summed it up in 11 words. "Bob" he said, "thats why its called treasure hunting
and not treasure finding". I felt much better and was ready to go back out the next day, but hurricane
Ernesto was approaching.
Sunday morning came and we were a go! Myself and three other investors met at the marina and began
our journey to the site. Before we got to the site we saw a familiar boat heading in to Key West. It was
the Dare! Apparently sometime after we had left the day before there was a problem with one of the
mailboxes, so they decided to head home first thing in the morning. The seas were starting to get rough
anyway, so I suppose its just as well. It would have been nice to let us know before we went all the
way out there, however. When we got back to Key west I hooked up with a dive store and went out on a
couple of dives. I don't get the chance to dive Florida often so I'm not going to let a chance slip away.
After being on the site I fully understand the magnitude of this operation. Having to search every inch
of the site is an awesome undertaking. Now I can see why its taken years.
I would like to thank everybody for making my trip a memorable one. From my first phone call about
becoming an investor to the present time I have been treated with nothing but respect and kindness
by the Mel Fisher's Treasures team. It is a first class organization with first class people. Thank
you all!! I also want to thank Captain Papo and the crew of the Dare. Hard working guys every one
of them! And lets not forget Captain Chris Norwood and the Lucky Dog. I had a great time and
cannot wait to get back down there.

Hi Joe, Shawn, and Grant,
Attached are some pictures I took while diving on the Magruder last weekend. It
was a most memorable trip for my wife and I. Two of the pictures are of my wife
and Andy holding the gold-washed plate that Andy found.
Thanks to all three of you for making this possible.
Sincerely,

Grant,
I wanted to thank you, your staff and the Fisher family for putting on a great
Celebration Week. Everyone we met, other investors, the Fisher family, members of their
organization, and the recovery crew, all really took the time to explain the history and
their stories with us. These are memories I will never forget.
Please pass on my thanks to the people on board the J B Magruder, Captain Andy, Bill,
Kent, and Ryan for working with us and explaining what they do.
Also, Please pass on a thank you to Lucky Dog Captain and Dive master Chris Norwood for
delivering us to the J B Magruder and guiding us through our dives. It was truly awesome
to participate in the whole recovery operation.
Finding a coin was certainly one of the highlights of our dive adventure as well as
being with the crew when they recovered many artifacts, including 2 cannonballs and
several silver coins. I can't wait to find out what the E.O.s are and the condition
of the objects recovered, including the coin I found.
The true pleasure and reward from the whole experience are the relationships that have
been started and the opportunity to get to know some of the Fisher family members and
their organization. These are the real treasures and are worth more to my wife and me
than anything found on the ocean floor.

Talk to you soon and see you in May,
TODAY'S THE DAY!!!!
Stuart & Susan Bernstein
