Motivation, Inc. certifies and/or appraises only artifacts recovered by this company:

We do not provide these services for 1733 artifacts

NOTE: We certify/appraise only those artifacts for which you have a verifiable tag or artifact number. If you do not have a tag or artifact number we cannot provide these services. We cannot verify tag numbers or ownership through sales records.

Recertification

If you have lost your certificate or would just like to upgrade to the more secure, color certificate, we do offer recertification/authentication services. The cost is a minimum of $200.00 per item or 10% of artifact value, plus shipping. We must have proof of the original tag/coin number. We do require that you ship the artifact to us as we must authenticate it in person and photograph it for the new certificate as well as our database. For security and authentication purposes, we also need the old certificate and small flippette with the coin, if you have it. Also, if you have any additional information about the artifact, please provide that as well. This process takes 2 weeks from when we receive the item.

Appraisals

We also provide written appraisals for $50.00 per item up to $5,000 over is 1% of appraised value plus shipping. We estimate the value as listed for insurance purposes only at the current retail value, excluding Federal and other taxes. In making an appraisal, we do not agree to purchase or replace the item. We provide appraisals only for the artifacts, not mounts, chains or other added accoutrements. As with the recertification process, we must have proof of the original tag/coin number. We do require that you ship the artifact to us as we must authenticate it in person and photograph it for the new certificate as well as our database. For security and authentication purposes, we also need the old certificate and small flippette with the coin, if you have it. Also, if you have any additional information about the artifact, please provide that as well. This process takes 2 weeks from when we receive the item.

Silver Bars

We do not require that you ship a silver bar when requesting recertification or an appraisal. You must, however, email good quality digital photographs of the front, back and close up of the silver bar number. These photographs must be .jpg files and must be your own photographs.
